About Elliue
Elliue is made by the Elliue team. Elliue is a personal tool for recording and understanding your own spending, budgets, bills and regular payments. It’s in development, isn’t available to download yet, and its features may change before and after release.
Not financial advice
Elliue doesn’t provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it isn’t a bank, payment service or financial adviser. Budget suggestions and the Assistant’s answers are calculations from the information you enter. They’re estimates to help you think, not recommendations, and they can’t take into account anything you haven’t recorded. For advice about your circumstances, speak to a qualified professional.
Your information and its accuracy
Elliue works only with what you enter. It doesn’t see your bank balance, and its figures are only as accurate and complete as your records. Please check important figures against your bank or provider before relying on them.
Reminders are delivered by iOS and may be delayed or not shown, for example in Focus modes or if notifications are turned off. Don’t rely on them as your only way of remembering a payment.
Labels such as “plan to cancel” or “cancelled” are for your own planning. Elliue never contacts providers, cancels services or stops payments.
Keeping your data
Your records are stored on your iPhone, and we can’t access or recover them. You’re responsible for keeping backups or exports if you want a copy. See theprivacy policy for how backups, exports and deletion work.
Using the app and this website
- Use Elliue only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Don’t try to disrupt, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or this website.
- When the app is available through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies, unless we provide our own licence terms there.
Ownership
The Elliue name, design, app and website content belong to us. Your records belong to you.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Elliue accurate and reliable, but it’s provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that it will be error-free or always available, and we aren’t responsible for decisions made using it or for loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can’t be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Elliue develops. We’ll change the date at the top when we do, and highlight significant changes before they take effect.
